Get funding for events, activities and projects that help groups of 10 or more people who suffer from life changing illness, accidents, or medical conditions

Who we support

You are eligible for support if:

  • The project is for at least 10 people

  • It is free for people to attend (or there is a small nominal charge), or the event is for non-profit

  • It is for people who have suffered a life changing illness, accident or medical condition

  • You are a local community group, registered charity, or school working with individuals and their families who have suffered a life changing accident, illness or medical condition.

You are not eligible for support if:

  • The project or group event is eligible for public funding

  • The local community group, registered charity, or school is financially able to support the event themselves

  • The grant is to promote/involve any religious or political aspects


Funding considerations

We will consider requests for funding towards:

  • Aids or equipment for event
  • Food or beverages
  • Entry tickets to theme parks, cinema, theaters and other recreational activities

 

We will not consider requests for funding towards:

  • Staff funding, salary costs or employment related expenses
  • Marketing
